From June 10–12, 2026, the RIA-AE network convened in Riga for its annual meeting. The event brought together 50 participants representing 21 partner countries and two potential member countries to review progress, optimize dissemination activities, and strategize for the network’s long-term future. Over three intensive days, the network focused on refining the European synthesis report, with a strong emphasis on sharpening policy pointers. Participants also evaluated the second survey round to gather valuable lessons for the upcoming third round, while discussing how to adapt to the changing monitoring expectations of the European Commission. In addition, the partners developed a joint dissemination strategy to enhance the outreach and impact of the network’s results and publications. Looking further ahead, the network members engaged in strategic discussions to secure the future of the RIA-AE network beyond 2028.
